Regional Public Affairs & Sustainability Manager
location: Warsaw, Aleje Jerozolimskie
As the Regional Public Affairs & Sustainability Manager you hold the regional public affairs and sustainability agenda together by monitoring, prioritizing, initiating, and executing appropriate public affairs and sustainability strategies aligned with regional business goals and global Public Affairs approach.
Your Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Stay updated on external policy, sustainability agendas, and internal goals within your region.
- Analyze and assess the impact of upcoming policies and legislations with regional and global teams.
- Ongoing assessment of risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align strategies and ensure a holistic approach.
- Integrate public affairs and sustainability perspectives into internal strategies to align with goals.
- Develop and communicate company positions and responses on relevant issues.
- Map, engage, and manage external stakeholders.
- Be a spokesperson for H&M Group
- Monitor and report on KPIs to measure the impact of actions.
- Update the Tracker with strategies and outcomes.
- Ensure alignment between regional and global PA & Sustainability strategies.
- Contribute to the development of tools, materials, and processes to enhance PA & Sustainability work across the organization.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated with a curious mindset and able to build trust and foster relationships with various stakeholders.
What you need to succeed:
- 6+ years of experience in Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, or Stakeholder Engagement.
- Educational background in Politics, Law, Sustainability, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Beneficial experience in working with think tanks, NGOs, or within the textile industry.
- Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects with an international scope.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in sustainability concepts and practices.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Fluent English.
Additional Information
We are offering a full-time position based in Warsaw, Poland, with a local Polish contract. The Regional Public Affairs & Sustainability Manager is part of regional team and report directly to the Regional Manager.
